Jackson had a dream of playing big time D1 football, but only received two scholarship offers from small schools. So he did what most wouldn't. He bet on himself and walked on at SMU. 

During his time there he ended up playing all four years, starting two years, earning a scholarship, and going on to become a team captain and Burlsworth Trophy nominee.

This experience instilled in him that when you are willing to commit to a goal of any kind, and work relentlessly to make it happen, there are no limits to what you can accomplish.
